The largest diorama I have ever built. Approximately 110 cm long and 45 cm wide. The building is of the Italeri brand. I made my Reichstag extra detailed and wider and provided it with lighting.
Stalin saw the Reichstag building as the end goal of his campaign to Berlin. The why remains a mystery. It had not been used since the fire in 1933, and moreover, the Nazis did not govern their empire from a parliament, but from the Reich Chancellery on Vosstraße. According to Russian sources, 500 tanks and 24,000 soldiers took part in the battle for the Reichstag, which lasted until May 2.
